The Best Ways To Prevent Wrinkles

Thursday, October 1st, 2009

Sometimes, we want the best of both worlds, and who can blame us.  To have the wisdom of aging without the look of it, that’s appealing, and yet, it seems impossible.  Therefore, we judge others around us as well as ourselves based on looks, because nobody could possibly look young and still have the years of experience to back up their mind.  But what if you could?

Well, now it is possible.  Now you can.  I can’t guarantee that you will look young forever, but you can certainly stave off aging for a longer period of time and even reverse the signs of aging in some cases.  Now some people have always had dull skin, and some of these can also help with that problem, helping you to look better than ever before even at an older age.

The first major thing to do is to eat a healthy diet.  When you are eating more fruits and vegetables and therefore getting your vitamins as well as powerful antioxidants and fiber, you are actually helping yourself to achieve a certain glow.  You are also drinking more water without even knowing it, because many fruits and vegetables are actually high in water content.

Then you want to use a good moisturizer combined with a sunscreen that is at least SPF 30.  Oftentimes, you can actually find creams and moisturizers that do both, doing your job for you at an easier rate.  And this simple step can stave off aging while also giving you various other benefits to go along with it.

Stem Cell Technology

Friday, May 8th, 2009

Stem cells and stem cell technology has been recently introduced to the world of wrinkle care.  It is a natural extension from the world of general health, and when applied topically, it could definitely reduce wrinkles.  Studies have found that stem cell technology actually increases the skin’s healthy turnover as well as increasing collagen and elastin production within the body.  This could firm and increase elasticity in the skin.  While stem cells have been injected into the skin and shown successful results in the past, the topical application is far less invasive.

There are some skeptics, such as Dr John Gearhart MD, director of stem cell research at John Hopkins Medical Center.  Most of his skepticism surrounds its application as a topical agent rather than an injection.  While stem cells can easily be found in the umbilical cord at birth as well as in the deepest layers of the skin, regenerating collagen, elastin, and other elements, it is in its infancy to some degree in terms of research and development.

You should be careful of which stem cell based products you buy.  As with any other system or ingredient, there are some that would only take advantage of gullible customers who are unaware of the fine mechanics of things.  They use the hype rather than substantial fact and they often charge hundreds of dollars.  In those products, customers often complain about unsubstantiated claims and no results.

As far as the positive science goes, stem cells have a natural presence within the skin and body, and they are the cells mainly responsible often times for producing new and undamaged skin cells to replace those that have been damaged among other things.  Stem cells decrease with age, and some of the things we do can also kill them off, undermining even our best efforts.  There are of course always imitators.  So it is hard to find a good product.

However, we have discovered that there are products that may come through.  They are few and far between as are any good products in any industry.  But one of them is the wrinkle cream Dermavexin.  We do not guarantee anything of course.  But it seems that many customers have seen great success due to a reliable formula.
